We started custombassdrumhead.com in 2006 with one focus: make ordering a custom bass drum head feel as straightforward as it should — design it, approve it, get it on your kit.

From the start, we focused on what makes a custom bass drum head land on stage: full-color direct-to-head printing (never stickers or films), custom mic port placement, premium drum heads, and a clean way for drummers to see exactly what they're getting before they buy. The browser designer is the latest step in that focus.

The details are everything. Where the mic port goes. How the bleed wraps the edge. How a 22" drum head reads from a stage thirty feet away. Whether a logo will hold up under thirty minutes of stick wear before the encore.

We've played the gigs. We know the kits. We make those calls from a drummer's perspective — not from a print catalog.

What we make.

Custom bass drum heads from 16" to 28". Front (resonant) and batter. Full-color, photo-quality art printed directly on premium drum heads — your logo, your photo, your hand-drawn artwork, anything you can put in a file.

Most of what we make are logos for working bands. We also handle orders for schools, marching bands, drum lines, worship teams, and the occasional one-off for a recording or a music video. If you've got a bass drum and an idea, we can put one on the other.

The proofing process, fixed.

The browser designer is the heart of how we work. You upload your art, you scale and position it on the drum head, you place the mic port wherever your kit needs it, and you see exactly what'll print. You design it, you approve it, your drum head ships. The whole thing happens in your browser, in minutes.
