What's included in every order.

If you'd like a mic port hole, it's an optional add-on you'll see in the designer along with a couple of small upgrades — a port hole ring or a hole reinforcer. Each adds a small amount to the total, itemized clearly in your cart so there's nothing to guess about at checkout.

What's not in your per-size price.

Two things sit outside the per-size number so the price you see stays honest:

• Shipping — calculated at checkout based on your address and the drum head size. Domestic and international rates show before you commit. Use the shipping estimator for an arrival window.
• Mic port hole and upgrades (optional) — a basic port hole adds a small fee, and chrome ring or hole reinforcer upgrades each add a little more. Everything is itemized in your cart.

What goes into the price.

Three things cost real money on every order, and that's where your money goes:

• A premium drum head. We don't print on cheap practice heads. The drum head you receive is the same model you'd buy at a music store from Aquarian, Evans, or REMO. Larger sizes cost more because the head itself costs more.
• Direct-to-head printing. Your artwork goes straight onto the head's surface — not a film, not a sticker, not a decal. The process takes precision: registration, ink density, curing. We don't cut corners on the part that matters.
• Hand review and packaging. Every order is checked against the mockup you approved, then hand-packed in a custom-cut box so the printed surface arrives clean.

No setup fees. No separations. No surprises.

A few things you'll see on competitor quotes that you won't see on ours:

• No setup fees. Many print shops charge $25–$75 per file to "set up" your artwork. We don't. Whether you order one head or ten, the per-size price is the per-size price.
• No separations charges. Old-school screen printing charges per color. Our direct-to-head process prints full color at photo quality with no per-color upcharge — a 12-color photograph prints for the same as a 2-color logo.
• No color limits. Gradients, fine detail, soft tones — print as many colors as the design needs. Zero penalty for complexity.
• No art prep fees. If your file works, we use it. We don't charge for "file handling" or "conversion."

If you find a cheaper price for direct-to-head custom bass drum head printing — meaning the same process, the same drum head quality, the same full-color result — we'll match it or beat it. Send us the competing quote and we'll respond with our match.

The honest fine print: the comparison has to be apples-to-apples. A printed decal, a vinyl wrap, or a screen-printed promotional head isn't the same product, and we won't match those.

Bulk orders for schools, bands & worship teams.

Marching lines, drum corps, school bands, worship teams, and corporate orders are a regular part of what we do. Building a drumline? For any other bulk order, message us with your sizes, quantity, and timeline and we'll work with your budget.

Returns & damages.

Because every drum head is custom-printed to your design, we generally can't accept returns or refunds. The browser designer and the mockup approval step exist specifically so you see exactly what you'll get before production starts — what you approve is what we make.

If your drum head arrives damaged in transit, that's on us. Send us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we'll print and ship a replacement at no charge.

Frequently asked questions about pricing.

Why is a 28" head more expensive than a 16" head?

Two reasons: the drum head itself costs more at larger sizes (we use premium heads from Aquarian, Evans, and REMO), and the print area scales with the size — more ink, larger production setup. Pricing follows the cost curve.

Are there setup fees, art fees, or color limits?

No. The price you see for a given drum head size is the price — full color, photo quality, no per-color separations, no file-handling fees. Optional port hole upgrades are itemized clearly in your cart.

When am I charged?

At checkout, when you submit the order. Production starts as soon as the payment clears.

Can I split my payment?

Yes — Klarna pay-in-4 is available at checkout. Your order is split into four interest-free payments, and your drum head ships once the first payment clears.
