Accessibility Statement | Custom Bass Drum Heads

We want every drummer to be able to design and order a custom bass drum head, regardless of how they use the web. This page describes our approach to accessibility and how to reach us if you run into a barrier.

What we aim for

We design and build the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That means:

Sufficient color contrast in text, buttons, and form fields.
Keyboard navigation throughout the site, including the design canvas.
Descriptive alt text for product photos and meaningful icons.
Form labels and error messages that screen readers can announce.
Animations that respect prefers-reduced-motion — if your system requests less motion, we honor it.

Where we know we fall short

The browser-based design canvas relies on mouse or touch gestures (drag, scale, rotate). We are working on full keyboard alternatives for placing artwork and the mic port. Until then, if you'd like help completing a design, message us and we'll walk you through it manually.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the site, please let us know. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you were using. We treat accessibility issues as bugs and work to fix them quickly.
