We print on real drum heads from the same manufacturers you'd buy at a music store — Aquarian, Evans, and REMO. The print process is direct-to-head, so there's no decal, no film, no sticker. The artwork becomes part of the drum head, just like the factory-printed logo on a stock head. Tuning, attack, and resonance are unchanged — drummers regularly tell us they can't hear any difference between a printed head and a stock one.
Pricing is per drum head size with no setup fees, no color separations, no surprises. Optional add-ons (mic port hole, chrome ring, hole reinforcer) are itemized clearly in your cart. See the full pricing table for every size.
The designer accepts a wide range of file formats and warns you if your file is too low resolution to print sharply. For tips on prepping artwork — file formats, DPI, color modes, bleed, fonts — see the artwork help page. Still not sure your file will print well? Message us before ordering and we'll take a look — no charge, no commitment.
Printed and packed in the USA, shipped worldwide (heads larger than 26" ship within the US only). Most orders ship within a few business days of approval. See the shipping estimator for arrival windows based on your state.
Printed directly on the drum head — never a sticker, decal, or film. Your artwork becomes part of the drum head, just like the original logo on a stock head from the factory.
No. The direct-to-head printing process doesn't add any noticeable thickness or stiffness. The drum still tunes, plays, and sounds exactly like a stock head from the manufacturer.
The designer warns you and shows your effective print PPI. Borderline files still print — they just won't be as crisp. For best results, supply vector art (PDF, SVG, EPS) or a raster file at 150+ PPI at the actual print size.
Most US orders land within 3–7 business days of order: a few business days of production plus standard transit. International orders typically arrive in 7–14 business days after dispatch.
Yes. Just place two orders — one for the resonant (front) head, one for the batter. Most kits print only the front since that's what the audience sees, but plenty of customers do both for studio kits and photo shoots.
